At your level, you want to make a full set of armor with the highest end physical resistance armor gems (pristine physical + pristine protection) in every slot, except maybe the chest. I dont understand why you cant but they dont let you, how armors get slots if a mastersmith blacksmith cant make them, ill never know. Epic gems may only be crafted once your sagecrafting skill is at level 8. Cloudy, which is the lowest quality, lambent, which is the middle quality gem and then pristine which is the highest quality gem.
Ohgood 10 years ago #7. If they were placed in an empty slot, they can be removed by a sagecrafter for a fee. Epic gems can only be fitted in a chest piece but there are other similar bonus gems that can go in other items when crafting so it's not a big loss only being able to put epic gems in chest pieces.
